Just as Cheers was "The place where everybody knows your name," so, too, is the Starbucks just north of the Stage Deli on Orchard Lake Road! Those of us who are "regulars" seem to know and be known by almost everyone else in the place. The wonderful staff, particularly my man, Raven, are always ready to take your order and turn out just the drink or delicacy you wanted with style, grace and a friendly smile! I am usually just interested in a cup of plain old Pike, although my head can sometimes be turned by one of their "fancy/schmancy" flavored drinks - especially in the summertime! I occasionally enjoy one of their tasty pastry treats or the really good (and hot) oatmeal - especially this time of year. Those of you old enough to remember black and white TV will undoubtedly connect with the phrase - "Try it. You'll like it!" Sure could have been written about this Starbucks location!

Worst service every time! Wait 20 minutes. Wanted something toasted oven is broke get an ice tea unsweetened, leave and realize it's sweetened. Never again.

I come here often as a 3rd office. I do notice a specific clientele like a previous reviewer...but that's WB for ya!! Despite the terrible parking lot, it's always bustling with people stopping by for coffee. There are usually seats there for me to plunk down a few hours on the computer, meet with people and grab a snack when I have my own coffee (Hey, if they want me to buy coffee every single time, better serve it to me in bed ;)

I'll reserve the strange hostility towards West Bloomfield for others. I stopped in recently, and happened to be the only customer around. In spite of this, the barista was fairly slow, and handed me a cup with about as much hazelnut syrup on the outside as inside. The location itself is easy enough to get to, but horrible if you need to make a left turn out of the parking lot, towards Pontiac Trail.

This is not my favorite Starbucks, but it's one I go to once in a while, if it's convenient. All the times I've been, I had a good experience, except my last time. The woman who made my drink and took my order was incredibly hostile; she seemed unhappy with her job and very rude. It would have been something I tried to ignore and get out of there, but my drink was made wrong- not once but twice. She said she "couldn't measure" it, but I had to point right across from me their measuring cup. She eventually slammed my drink down saying nothing and ignoring my question. The drink was still incorrect, and I left really frustrated only to have another near by location remake the drink for me since I was not going to ask her to do it again. I called the store, reported the employee to the manager, and was really pleasantly surprised by the amount of care and consideration the manager gave me. It did help the situation. I would consider going back, although I will try to avoid it, and would rather go to another location after all of that.

This place is the definition of a first class Coffee shop in all aspects, from management to staff it's all about the customer. I'm very impressed, keep up the great work.

For some reason this location always messes up my not-very-complex drinks, or they just dont taste as good. Maybe it's just me, but I never go to this one, I always go down the street to the one on Maple and Orchard. That one has a friendlier staff and they never mess up.

This location is a spitting image of the city itself. Nice lovely outside, clean. But the people in it are stuck up and snotty. Good coffee, cool. But sorry, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere where in most cases the coffee is not only better tasting (just as the other review says McDonald's frappe-delicious) but is 3, 4, 5 dollars cheaper for a single cup. Thanks but no thanks Starbucks!

I love coffee and tea. I do. But starbucks is just so over rated. The atmosphere is nice because its always busy but its seating is not enough for the huge city of west bloomfield. I know its the location they are in, but I'm sure some rearranging could take place and fit some more tables. Now the only time I ever go to starbucks is during the late fall and winter and order their "non fat white chocolate peppermint mocha". Its to die for. Other than that......Mickey D's frappes are 3 dollars cheaper and are soooooo good! I'm not kidding. They are addicting. You have to try I at least once. BUT if u want to enjoy some really good quality coffee and etc., go to the franklin farmhouse coffee and icecream. Omg the atmosphere is amazing, there is upstairs and downstairs seating, the staff is so sweet, its a hidden gem that makes u feel u are in the 1800's. Lol I love that farmy feel. Would hands down go there over starbucks any day. Sorry starbucks.....I'm not a fan. Except for your white chocolate pepprmint mocha. Xoxo
